Golf Set to Compete at 2017 SSAC Championships

The Brenau golf team will compete at the 2017 SSAC Women's Golf Championship, presented by Newk's Eatery on April 24-26 in Montgomery, Alabama.

The 54-hole tournament will take place at the Par-72, 5,736-yard Arrowhead Country Club. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the 2017 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.

The Golden Tigers, currently ranked 34^th by Golfstat rankings, will take on a deep and talented field of conference foes, including Dalton State (Ga.) College (ranked 5^th by Golfstat), William Carey (Miss.) University (12^th), Faulkner (Ala.) University (18^th) and Loyola (La.) University (29^th).

Brenau hopes to use their two tournament wins at both the Phoenix Invitational and the Golden Tigers Invitational as momentum going into the championships.
