Golden Tigers Struggle Against #18 Bryan College
Gainesville, Georgia- The #18th ranked Bryan (Tenn.) College basketball team used a torrid shooting performance to cruise past Brenau University 98-63 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play on Wednesday.
The Lions shot a blistering 15/27 (56%) from three point range and posted four players in double figures en route to the victory.
The Golden Tigers had a solid offensive showing, including shooting 40% (25-63) from the floor, but struggled to contain the hot shooting visitors.
Junior guard Hanna Grogan led Brenau with 16 points, while senior guard Madison Zaferatos chipped in seven points and three assists.
Bryan was led by Destiny Kassner's game high 22 points.
Brenau (5-5 overall, 2-4 AAC) next travels to take on Truett McConnell College (5-2 overall, 2-2 AAC) on Wednesdaya t 5:30 pm in Cleveland, Ga.
