Basketball Adds Moody to 2017 Class
The Brenau University basketball team announces the signing of Ryann Moody to the 2017-2018 team.
Moody, the daughter of Mandy and Jamie Moody, was a four year letter winner at Lakeview Academy in Gainesville, Ga.
During her senior season, Moody averaged 12 points and six rebounds per game and helped lead her team to a final four state tournament appearance. She was also a two-time an All-Region performer during her scholastic career.
The Alto, Ga. native also played for head coach Bruce Kidwell and the North Georgia Celtics AAU team.
When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Moody stated that, "I liked that Brenau was close to home and that the University really has a great Education program. Most of all, I fell in love with the coaching staff".
Brenau head coach Kris Stewart noted that, "Ryann is a really strong shooter and good rebounder. She is a physical and versatile player who will be a great addition to our team and University".
Moody, an Early Childhood Education major, is the first signee of 2017-18 for the Golden Tigers basketball team.
