Shaw Signs with Softball for 2021-22

The Brenau University softball team and head coach Devon Thomas announces the signing of Sara Shaw to the 2021-22 signing class.

Shaw, the daughter of Laura and Joe Shaw, is a pitcher from Presbyterian College. Prior to Presbyterian, she was a standout player for Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Ga. During her prep career, she was named as Gwinnett Diamond Club Player of the Month and a first-team All-County selection.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Shaw said, "The biggest reason I chose Brenau was because of the opportunity to move back closer to my family, as I am a big family person and there's nothing more important to me than my family. I was also very excited about the opportunity Coach Thomas had to offer me, and the chance to compete at a high level with the softball program. I am so excited to become a Golden Tiger, and can't wait to continue my education and softball career!"

Shaw plans on majoring in business administration while at Brenau.
