Brookshire Commits to Golden Tigers Softball

The Brenau softball team and head coach Devon Thomas announce the signing of Jillian Brookshire to the 2020-21 team.

Brookshire, the daughter of Kevin and Sandi Brookshire, is a student at Dacula High School in Dacula, Ga.

During her senior season at Dacula, Brookshire was a three-year member of the softball team. The 1B/OF was also an honor graduate who was a National Honor Society and BETA Club member.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Brookshire said, "I am honored to be able to play with this team and am excited for the years to come. I'm looking forward to being a Golden Tiger!"

According to head coach Devon Thomas, "Jillian is a very versatile player which allows her to be used as both an infielder and as an outfielder. She is very consistent at the plate on offense and a very smart hitter. It is also impressive that she is a successful student in the classroom as well."

Brookshire plans on majoring in English and is the first signee for the 2020-21 team.
