Softball Signs Hunsucker for 2015

Brenau softball announces the signing of Emily Hunsucker to the 2015-2016 team.

Hunsucker, a Dawsonville, Ga. native, is a standout infielder at Dawson County High School. She also played for the Southern Fury travel team and head coach Michael Fowler.

During her senior season, Hunsucker hit .370 with 20 RBIs, 14 stolen bases and 20 runs scored. She was selected as a 7-AAA first team all-region and AAA second team all-state player..

"Emily is a very versatile infielder with quick hands and a quick release that can play the corners as well as the middle infield positions," said head coach Devon Thomas. "She is very consistent at the plate and runs the bases well. I am excited to have a player like Emily on our roster."

Hunsucker is the second signee for the 2015-16 season for the Golden Tigers.
