Cole Named SSAC Softball Player of the Week

Katie Cole was named Southern States Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance during the week of April 13-19th.

Cole helped the Golden Tigers sweep Coastal Georgia on Senior Day with an outstanding afternoon at the plate.

The Tupelo, Miss. native hit .600 (3-5) with two home runs, two runs scored and seven RBIs. She also added two doubles and two walks.

Cole is the first SSAC Player of the Week for the Golden Tigers softball team this season.
