Softball Inks Moore for 2014

Brenau softball announces the signing of Savannah Moore to the 2014-2015 team.

Moore, a native of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, is a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School.

As a sophomore, Moore was a member of the Soddy Daisy High School state championship team that went 46-5 and won a state championship.

After her senior season, Moore was named to the Georgia/Tennessee All-Star game and was selected as the Tennessee Player of the Game.

"Moore is a solid, power hitting catcher," said head coach Devon Thomas. "She comes from very successful high school and travel ball programs in Tennessee and that will help ease the transition to the college game".

Moore plans on majoring in Liberal Studies and will also throw the shot put for the Brenau track and field team.
