Softball Signs Georgia Standout

Brenau softball announces the signing of Mason Garland to the 2014-2015 team.

A native of Hoschton, Georgia, Garland was a standout basketball and softball player at Jackson County High School, who was an All-Region team member in 2012 and 2013 for both sports.

For softball, the infielder was a 2013 All-State Games and All-State selection, a 2012 All-State Honorable Mention selection and a 2011 8AA Second-Team All-Region Selection.

In 2013-2014, Garland hit .444 with 41 RBIs and a .469 on-base percentage. She was a four-year varsity starter and a four-year Scholar-Athlete who plans on majoring in Biology.
