Sally Duggan Signs Softball Letter of Intent

Gainesville, GA- Sally Duggan has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Brenau University. She attends Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Alabama where she has been a member of the softball team since the 8th grade. Duggan has a high school batting average of .348 with 227 hits including 48 doubles, 18 triples, 109 RBIs, and 71 stolen bases through her Junior year. In 2008, she was named Huntsville High's Most Valuable Player and was selected for the Alabama All Area Team, the Huntsville Times Elite Team, and the Bob Jones All Tournament Team. In 2009, Sally was named to the Alabama State All Star Team, and was named Huntsville High Player of the Year, and was selected for the Alabama All Area Team, and the Huntsville Times Elite Team for the second year in a row. During the Summer prior to her Junior year, Sally was selected to play on an Americas International Softball Team which traveled to Germany, Austria, and Prague in the Czech Republic.
Sally carries a 3.7 GPA and is a member of the A/B Honor Roll. Sally plans on pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biology before entering graduate school where she wants to
study Physical Therapy.
