Allen Commits to Competitive Cheerleading for 2020-21
The Brenau competitive cheerleading team and head coach Krista Britt announce the signing of Ragan Allen to the 2020-21 team.
Allen, the daughter of Tony and Catreese Allen, is a graduate of Commerce High School in Commerce, Ga.
While at Commerce High School, Allen was a four-year letter winner for both varsity football cheerleading and varsity competitive cheerleading. She was a member of the 2018 state-runner up competition cheer team and was also captain of the sideline and competitive cheer teams.
She is a member of Beta Club, HOSA, Student Government, FCCLA, Key Club and was vice president of the Senior Class. Additionally, Allen was a scholar-athlete, honor graduate and was voted Miss CHS by the faculty at Commerce High School and was Best All Around by her senior class.
When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Allen said, "Cheerleading has always been a big part of my life. I have been cheering ever since I was a little girl, and I am super grateful to be continuing my cheerleading career at Brenau University. I cannot wait to be a Golden Tiger!"
Allen plans on majoring in nursing and is the fourth signee for the 2020-21 team.
