Kniess Takes Low Medalist Honors; Team Places Third at Skyhawk Invite

West Point, Georgia- Sophomore Laura Kniess earned first place and helped lead the Golden Tigers golf team to an overall third place finish at the Fall Skyhawk Invitational this past weekend. 

Kniess took low medalist honors with a strong 77-76-153 to outpace the field. 

Other Golden Tiger finishers include senior Ylenia Alcibiade Bennasar (89-75-164),and  juniors Kaylee Stickney (84-86-170) and Sasha Baker (87-86-173). Overall, the team finished with a score of 328 324-652.

AAC rival Truett McConnell (Ga.) took top team honors with a team score of 646, while Paine (Ga.) College finished one stroke ahead of the Golden Tigers with a 651.

Brenau next takes to the course at the Firehawk Invitational on September 18-19.
