        <title>[Women's Cross Country] Cross Country Signs Two Flowery Branch Runners</title>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;Gainesville, Ga - Brenau University Cross Country Coach Susan McIntyre announced today the signing of a pair of runners from Flowery Branch High School to add to her roster for this fall.&amp;nbsp; Both runners, Eileen DeVico and Ana Lopera, finished in the Top 40 as seniors at the Georgia High School Cross Country Championships.&lt;/div&gt;
&amp;nbsp;
&lt;div&gt;Lopera is a three year varsity letter winner and received the Most Improved Award as a junior and followed that up with the Championship Attitude Award her senior year when she captained her team.&amp;nbsp; DeVico lettered in all four seasons for the Falcons.&lt;/div&gt;
&amp;nbsp;
&lt;div&gt;&quot;These two young ladies are quality runners and people and we have definitely improved our program by adding them to the mix.&amp;nbsp; Eileen has good speed and has demonstrated that she is willing to work hard to improve her times.&amp;nbsp; Ana has great leadership skills and also will work hard to improve.&amp;nbsp; There is no doubt that these two young ladies will leave their mark at Brenau, both athletically and academically,&quot;&amp;nbsp; said Coach McIntyre.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <title>[Women's Cross Country] Audra Cochran Excels in the Off Season</title>

        <description>Gainesville, Ga- Junior cross country runner Audra Cochran (Stockbridge) is having quite an off-season, not only as an athlete but also for her accomplishments in the academic world.&amp;nbsp; Cochran ran the Charles Harris 10K on Feb. 27 and won her age group with a time of 41:48, which also placed her in 12th place out of 588 women.&amp;nbsp; She now holds the fastest time as a Tiger runner participating in that race.&amp;nbsp; One week later, she ran the Chattahoochee Road Runners 5K and again won her age group with a time of 19:42, which placed her 2nd out of 90 women.</description>

        <title>[Women's Cross Country] Cochran Wins at Hogpen Hill</title>

        <description>&lt;div style=&quot;MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt&quot;&gt;Gainesville, GA- Helen, Georgia hosts one of the toughest races in North America in the Hogpen Hill Climb.&amp;nbsp;The race starts at noon in Helen and finishes 10.6 miles later at the top of one of the toughest gaps in North Georgia, Hogpen Gap.&amp;nbsp;As if the run up the gap wasn't tough enough, the race takes place in the middle of winter and the race starts at noon to give the top of the mountain a chance to warm up to its peak temperature for the day when the race finishes.&amp;nbsp; Brenau's Audra Cochran competed in this brutal test of endurance and not only won her age group but finished&amp;nbsp;ninth overall in the women's division.&lt;/div&gt;

        <description>Suwanee, GA- The Brenau cross country team stepped in to fill a need with Forsyth County Girls on the Run Sunday and took care of the timing of the 5K race held at Lambert High School.&amp;nbsp; In the mission statement for GOTR they prepare girls from 3rd to 8th grade for a lifetime of respect and healthy living through a 12-week program of two-one hour sessions per week of training to complete a 5K run.</description>

        <description>Louisville, KY-&amp;nbsp; It was a flat and fast course and an outstanding field for the Tigers cross country team, and they responded with their best times of the season.&amp;nbsp; There were 22 teams and 181 runners&amp;nbsp;competing in the Southeastern Cross Country Classic at the Tom Sawyer State Park, and Brenau finished 16th.&amp;nbsp; As she has most of the season, Junior Audra Cochran paced the Tigers, finishing in 56th place with a season-best 21:03 for the 5K distance.</description>

        <description>&lt;P&gt;Gainesville, GA- Junior Audra Cochran (Stockbridge) has been selected as Golden Tiger of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-13 for her performance&amp;nbsp;at the Southern Cross Country Challenge last Saturday in Marietta.&amp;nbsp; Cochran, who is usually the top runner for the Golden Tigers, did not lead the way in this race, but showed incredible determination after a nasty fall to get back up and finish second for Brenau.&amp;nbsp; This is what her coach, Susan McIntyre, had to say in nominating her.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

        <description>Marietta, GA- Junior transfer Regina Ogechi returned to her old JC course today at Chattahoochee Technical College and led Brenau to a 4th place finish by finishing 18th with a time of 22:21, her best time of the season.&amp;nbsp; Audra Cochran slipped a couple of times on the wet course, but still managed to finish 21st (22:35) and right behind her was Maria Gonzalez, who ran her best race of the year to record a 22:37, good enough for 22nd place.</description>

        <description>Macon, GA-&amp;nbsp; Junior Audra Cochran has now consistently shown that she is the #1 runner for the Brenau cross country team, and again led the way today at the RunFit Invitational hosted by Mercer University.&amp;nbsp; Cochran posted a season best 21:46 for the 5K distance, placing 60th out of 210 runners.&amp;nbsp; The race was held at the Georgia Industrial Children's Home and featured high school as well as collegiate races.&amp;nbsp; There were 20 teams competing in the women's collegiate race, two of which were NAIA schools, with the rest being NCAA institutions and&amp;nbsp; Brenau finished 17th overall.</description>

        <description>Cumming, GA- It wasn't the best of weather conditions, with a torrential downpour, but the race went on last Saturday as the Brenau cross country team under the direction of Coach Susan McIntyre, served as timers for the Run United Forsyth 5K.&amp;nbsp; The race is an annual&amp;nbsp;fundraising effort for the United Way of Forsyth County and all participants complete the 3.1 mile course to help raise money for the different projects of the United Way.</description>

        <description>Nashville, TN- Junior Audra Cochran again led the way for the Golden Tigers today as they competed in the Commodore Classic where a field of 18 teams and 148 runners&amp;nbsp;braved difficult weather to run the 5K course with Vanderbilt University as the host.&amp;nbsp; Cochran outsprinted teammate Lillian Korir to finish 93rd with a time of 22:19.43.&amp;nbsp; Korir was next with a time of 22:19.68 and Sophomore Maria Gonzalez finished third for the Tigers, coming in113th with a time of 23:21.</description>
