Gordon Leslie - Head Coach
Gordon Leslie was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, but grew up, and was educated in Essex, England.
A multi-sport athlete, he competed at Junior Wimbledon and while working in Spain was able to combine his business career with a spell playing semi-pro soccer. He has extensive experience in coaching both sports and moved to Brenau in June 2005 from Shorter College, where he initiated their varsity soccer program. Having also worked in international business on several continents he speaks both Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
When asked what he felt he will bring to the athletic program at Brenau he replied - "I feel that my diverse background in business and athletics plus my experiences living and playing sports overseas give me a better understanding of how to motivate students to excel both in the classroom and on the field of play"
Coach Leslie is married and has 3 sons. He has compiled a 71-46 record at Brenau and has led the Golden Tigers to a berth in the National Championships in 2006, 2007 and to the quarter finals in 2009.
