Alexander City, AL- It was a grueling affair played over three days with many rain delays and long waits to play but the Brenau ladies dominated the Central Alabama Community College Invitational with Lyn See Choo beating Mary Claire Slade, Georgia Perimeter's best player 7-5/6-2 in the championship final. Slade had eliminated two Brenau players (Kate Mazackova and Eline Nagels) in the quarters and semifinal rounds, but found the consistency and range of shot of Choo too much to handle. Choo had defeated her teammate Hannah Thompson in the semifinal round 6-1/6-0. The tournament featured teams from 8 different schools including Millsaps College from Mississippi.
