Junior Audra Cochran

Macon, GA-  Junior Audra Cochran has now consistently shown that she is the #1 runner for the Brenau cross country team, and again led the way today at the RunFit Invitational hosted by Mercer University.  Cochran posted a season best 21:46 for the 5K distance, placing 60th out of 210 runners.  The race was held at the Georgia Industrial Children's Home and featured high school as well as collegiate races.  There were 20 teams competing in the women's collegiate race, two of which were NAIA schools, with the rest being NCAA institutions and  Brenau finished 17th overall. Freshman Lilian Korir again finished second for the Tigers, coming in 69th in a time of 22:17.  Right behind her was Regina Ogechi (78th, 22:34) and Maria Gonzalez clocked a 23:17 and finished 91st.  Shkurte Ejupi (99th, 23:43), Ashley McCoy (119th, 25:11), and Fatima Talavera (131st, 27:58) rounded out the field for BU.
