Coach Mike Lochstampfor is pleased to announce the valuable addition of Renee Ellisor to the 2011 soccer team. Renee is currently a senior at Madison County High School where she is coached by Head Coach Molly McCarty and Assistant Coach, Ashley Osborne, former Brenau University soccer player during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Renee was the leading scorer for her team and received honorable mention accolades for her play in region-8A and northeast Georgia. She also was the recipient of Most Valuable Offensive Player last season

Additionally, she participated in the College Experience Program with Athens United Soccer Association where she played midfield and forward. Her club team coach, Mike Morgan, calls her a "beast" when it comes to tackling and one of the toughest players on the team. "When you put that together with her speed and excellent ball skills, she becomes a well-rounded player, and controls her area wherever she is placed" he remarked.

In addition to her athletic prowess, she is an active member of Anchor Club, Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Renee is an All-American Scholar and plans to major in Business at Brenau, eventually going into the field of marketing or administration.

"Renee will be an excellent addition to our soccer program. She sets high standards for herself and aspires to do her best in all aspects of her life. We have been impressed with not only her accomplishments on the soccer field, but her academic successes as well.  I know she will make significant contributions to the team in the coming year," said Coach Lochstampfor
