Kansas City, Mo - The NAIA Women's Soccer Pre-Season Top 25 Poll was released yesterday and the Brenau Soccer Team was listed in the Receiving Votes category.  The Tigers finished 9-7-2 overall in 2009 and were 4-3-1, good enough for 4th place in the SSAC.  The conference has expanded from 10 teams to 14 for this season and six of the squads were mentioned in the poll.

Defending National Champions Lee University is ranked in the top spot, with William Carey, MS coming in at the 9th position and Auburn Montgomery, AL is 13th.  Joining Brenau in the receiving votes category is Mobile, AL and Faulkner, AL.

Brenau will open their regular season on August 27th, hosting Thomas, GA at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex.  The Tigers will again scrimmage against the College Experience Elite team on Aug. 23, with the match beginning at 6:30 pm at Allen Creek.
