She then played CGSL for th4 Uxbridge Storm U16 in 2006 and played in the Ontario Youth Soccer League for the Barrie Spirit, U17 and U18. She was the recipient of the Brock High School Female Soccer Award as a senior.
Bob Tilley, Erin's club coach had this to say about her, "Erin is highly coachable and during the time I had the privilege of having her on my squad, she was always looking to better her performance. She played at almost 100% of available playing time; which is exceptional for any player. For a player to be given this amount of playing time shows she is performing and contributing significantly to the team!"
Middle Georgia Coach Vinny Gill said, "Erin Brinks is a unique soccer player. On our team, she was by far the leading assist person and her unselfishness is a big part of our team's success last year. Erin is a player who understands her job about getting back and she is always willing to work hard. She has the prototype body of a division one player and I see her being very successful in the future."
