Brenau soccer announces the signing of Lornah Okoth to the 2017-18 team.
Okoth played for both Oconee County High School and the Oconee Futbol Club. During her career at Oconee County, she was voted Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Defensive player and helped her team place third in the GHSA AAA state tournament.
An honor graduate, Okoth is an exceptional artist who won excellence awards in visual arts at Oconee County High School and was also a member of both the Beta Club, the Superintendent's Advisory Council and was the recipient of The Benefactor Award from the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
"Lornah will be a great addition to our program," said head coach Mike Lochstampfor. "She has really good pace and will likely fill an immediate need in a defensive role on our team. Additionally, she's an outstanding student, very serious about her academic pursuits and will be an excellent fit for Brenau!"
Okoth plans on majoring in Studio Art and minoring in Business Administration and is the fourth signee for the 2017-18 team.
