Gainesville, GA-  Senior Karen Green put the finishing touches on a record-breaking volleyball season today by being named Golden Tiger of the Week for Nov. 10-17 by the coaching staff at Brenau.  Green was also named GTOW for the week of Oct. 19-26, the same week she became Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the first time in program history.  She broke her own kills record on several occasions and finished as the top player in the conference in that category.  Green was also the first Brenau player in history to be named to the First Team All SSAC squad and the SSAC All-Tournament Team.  The Tigers recorded their best ever season, finishing 24-11 and 5-7 in conference play.  The previous best overall mark was 11-21 in 2006 and the most conference wins before this year was two, which was established in 2003.
